Tuition & Policies

Lessons are held at the Work Lofts on Gilman Blvd in Issaquah, WA.

 

1)

I provide 48 lessons per calendar year. While tuition is charged monthly, the rate is NOT based on 4 lessons per month. Some months may have 5 lessons and others 2-3. This factors in time off for instructor vacation or illness.

 

If for some reason I cannot provide 48 lessons in a calendar year I will prorate tuition.

 

Tuition is due by the 7th. of each month.

 

2)

I cannot guarantee make up lessons. On Fridays I will email out a list of available make up spots for the following week(s). You can then reserve a make up spot if needed. Note: If you have a planned absence, please let me know as soon as possible as it will help with scheduling make up lessons.

 

3)

Half hour lessons will be $180/month ($45/lesson)

Hour lessons will be $360/month ($90/lesson)

4)

I require two weeks notice if you plan on stopping lessons. Tuition will not be prorated for the final month of lessons.

 

5)

If there is a consistent trend of not showing up for lessons and not informing me of your absence I reserve the right to remove you from my teaching schedule.

 

6)

I hold one student recital each year in the Spring. Students are encouraged to perform, but performance is not mandatory.

 

7)

If you wish to take a break from lessons a 50% tuition payment will be required to hold your spot. I will hold your lesson spot for a maximum of FOUR weeks.
